Doctor Who Magazine 475 was the issue of the magazine cover-dated August 2014. This month's issue was "themed" around the Paternoster Gang. Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint and Strax were featured on the cover, while Neve McIntosh, Catrin Stewart and Dan Starkey, the characters' actors, were interviewed. The issue also featured the comic debut of the gang in The Crystal Throne Part One.

Furthermore, the issue included a tribute to the memory of Kate O'Mara, who passed away a few months earlier. She was known for her role as the First Rani on the classic series of Doctor Who.
