The 442nd issue of Doctor Who Magazine was current from 15 December 2011 through 11 January 2012.
This issue was the named "Christmas Special", and it accordingly devoted a lot of its space to covering The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe.
Its cover, by artist Vince McIndoe, was the first non-photographic cover since DWM 350. The cover was a tribute to that of the Radio Times Christmas 1924 issue.[1]
