Nearly a year after it was cancelled by Panini, Doctor Who Insider (a North American-focused sister publication of Doctor Who Magazine), returned in November 2012 for a one-off "winter special" dedicated to the first half of Series 7. It is the 10th issue overall of DWI, although it is not numbered.
This was the final edition of Doctor Who Insider.

- While printed for a North American market by Panini UK Ltd (as a sister-title to their long running Doctor Who Magazine title), this one-off edition was available to readers in the UK as an exclusive through the high street chain of WH Smith stores.
- This issue came with a free double-sided poster featuring the promotional images for Asylum of the Daleks and The Angels Take Manhattan.
