Notable Information
- In H.G. Wells’s science fiction novel The Time Machine, there were hideously mutated creatures called the ‘Morlocks’ inspired by Herberts travels with the Sixth Doctor to the planet Karfel.
- River Song posed as private detective Melody Malone in order to investigate the house of art collector Julius Grayle in 1930s New York.
- Handles the cyberhead (found at the Maldovar market), kept the Eleventh Doctor company for around 900 years.
- Having ‘married’ Elizabeth I in 1562 and being furious when he abandoned her she ordered his arrest when she next saw him at the Globe Theatre in 1599.
- Because of an asbestos scare, studio filming of The Greatest Show in the Galaxy was moved to a tent erected in the Elstree studio car park.
