Cyril Luckham (25 July 1907-8 February 1989[1]) played the White Guardian in the Doctor Who television stories The Ribos Operation and Enlightenment.

Career[]

Other notable roles included Sir Timothy Hobson in the dystopian thriller The Guardians (1971), Charles Ashley in The Cedar Tree (1976-77) and the villainous psychic Edward Drexil in two episodes of the BBC science fiction series The Omega Factor (1979).

Personal Life[]

His son, Robert Luckham, had earlier appeared in The Power of the Daleks.
