One Cyberon was one of those intercepted over Gantifreet on behalf of a human businessman in the far future.
It became the subject of a "Creature Feature party", dissected alive in front of an audience of 48 guests as a demonstration of Cyberon anatomy and so that the Cyberon drug could be extracted from its veins, allowing the guests to safely micro-dose on the highly illegal nootropic. The process, leaving it drained of Cyberon, meant that it regained individuality and emotions, as well as losing its weakness to gold. Freeing itself from its shackles, the wounded Cyberon, now thinking in dream-like verse, exacted vengeance on its tormentors before attempting to transmaterialise back to Aurichall.
However, due to no longer containiing any Cyberon fluid, it was rejected by its home planet's sensors. Stuck in the "inbetween-maelstrom" of teleportation, it frantically attempted to conform by shedding its organic mass, becoming simply a hollow shell of Cyberon armour retaining a shattered sense of self. This was not enough, and it instead rematerialised on 24 September 2020 in Derby, (PROSE: The Blue Scream of Death [+]Tyche McPhee Letts, Cyberon (Arcbeatle Press, 2020).) in an alleyway near some bins, now literally hollow. It fled into a nearby forest where it finally deactivated, driven mad by the knowledge of its hollowness and purposelessness. After P.R.O.B.E.'s Operation World Salad detected and decoded its dying distress call, they recovered most of its body, noting how it seemed empty of organic parts or of the dangerous Cyberon drug. They initially did not find its head, (PROSE: The Blue Scream of Death [+]Tyche McPhee Letts, Cyberon (Arcbeatle Press, 2020).) but by 4 April 2021, it was in Giles's possession.
