During the Cyber Wars of the 250th Millennium, (PROSE: The Secret Lives of Monsters) a number of Cyber-Planners devised, and built, a valkyrie, to recover critically-damaged Cybermen and take them to a large-scale repair facility on a planet that would become the location of Hedgewick's World of Wonders a thousand years after the end of the Cyber Wars.
Sometime after Hedgewick's World of Wonders closed down due to numerous people going missing - as a result of the Cybermen harvesting them for spare parts - a reactivated Cyberman captured Angie and Artie Maitland, who had arrived at the abandoned amusement park with the Eleventh Doctor and Clara Oswald, and the two children were partially cyber-converted, as part of the early stages of being converted into new Cyber-Planners. However, when the Doctor found the two children in the Cybermen's underground repair facility, the partially-converted Webley chose to upgrade the Doctor into a Cyber-Planner instead, noting that the Cybermites had scanned the Time Lord's brain and judged it to be a much more effective brain for a Cyber-Planner. The result was a Cyber-Planner that nicknamed itself "Mr Clever". (TV: Nightmare in Silver)
