In an alternate timeline, Cyber-Arks were Silurian Arks which were converted by the Cybermen, following their creation of the Cyber-Silurians. The Eleventh Doctor attempted to stop their launch. Although he managed to free the Cyber-Silurians who built the ships, the Cyberiad terminated the compromised units, captured the Eleventh Doctor and launched the Arks itself. In the 24th century, a Cyber-Ark reinforced the Cyberman invasion of Sontar after the Tenth Doctor had saved the planet, beginning a planetary conversion. (COMIC: Supremacy of the Cybermen)
