A six-metre-long crocodilian crash-landed on Earth in its spacecraft in the early 2010s. It was held at bay at the Severn Bridge by Colonel Vikram Shindi and his troops whilst its craft, which suffered only superficial damage, was repaired in a hangar in Newport.
Captain Josh Carter used Petronella Osgood's pacifier to calm the crocodilian down, jumping into the water to do so. Once becalmed, Kate Stewart ensured that it was reunited with its ship, which Colonel Shindi monitored as it peacefully departed the planet. (AUDIO: Vanguard)
