Cradle of the Gods was a powerful monument located on the planet Gethria which had the ability to create or destroy on a massive scale.

History[]

When the Daleks of the New Dalek Paradigm and the Dalek Time Controller discovered the Cradle, they established the Dalek Foundation and the 400 Sunlight Worlds with the intention of using the Cradle to transform the worlds into "a billion Skaros". They sent a hypercube to the Doctor's TARDIS with the intention of manipulating the Eleventh Doctor into finding it for them and once he did, they threatened him so he would activate it. The Daleks were fought off by Jenibeth Blakely, and the Doctor set the Cradle to self-destruct. Before it exploded, it reverted the Sunlight Worlds to the way Jenibeth remembered them as a child. The Blakelys were reverted back into children with their memories of the Doctor erased and the parents brought back to life. (PROSE: The Dalek Generation)

Human historians following the Siege of Trenzalore acknowledged the Cradle of the Gods as the last in a string of defeats the Doctor inflicted on the New Paradigm which led to their organisational restructure into the Parliament of the Daleks preceding the Asylum Incident.
