Conversion Engines were used by the Cyberons for conversion of humans.
The crew of the Oblivion Spark found a Conversion Engine aboard a Cyberon vessel. It was smaller than conventional conversion engines, and contained nanites within it. A Cyberon estimated that these nanites would expire approximately two weeks after the engine failed. (PROSE: Flight of the Cyberons)
