Consobrinus Patruelis was a member of Faction Paradox sent to Roma XIII to help the Romans in their fight against the Greater German Reich. To help them he gave them the ability to travel to other worlds en masse, rather than relying on time rings. He also used rituals to create a barrier which blocked access across the Great Divide, only allowing entry through the Tramontane Gate in the Londinium of Roma DCX. (PROSE: Warlords of Utopia)
