Consider Yourself One Of Us... was the BBC One Christmas ident for 2011. It featured the Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond, and a Cyberman, alongside a large host of other BBC stars.
Synopsis[]
BBC One's Christmas 2011 trailer featuring a selection of faces that will be part of the fantastic line up on the channel over the Christmas period. Story notes[]
- The stars sing "Consider Yourself" from Oliver!
- This story was a crossover with Mrs. Brown's Boys and The Gruffalo.
- Several stars who appear as themselves had previously appeared in Doctor Who as other characters, namely Anne Robinson (playing an android version of herself), Hugh Quarshie and June Brown, as her Eastenders character Dot Cotton (TV: Dermot and the Doctor). Several would go on to join the Doctor Who cast in the future. Most notably, John Bishop would play Dan Lewis, companion to the Thirteenth Doctor, for nine episodes in 2021-22. Likewise, Alexander Armstrong, Lee Mack, Frank Skinner and Lenny Henry would all make guest appearances.
