Come on TARDIS, let's go party (exhibit)?

Talk about it here.

Come on TARDIS, let's go party[nb 1] was the ad hoc title for a small exhibition of a pink painted TARDIS erected on the bank of the River Thames[1] and later, the BBC Television Centre,[3] on 12 July 2023[1] by the BBC as a cross-promotion with 2023 Warner Brothers film Barbie, which starred Fifteenth Doctor actor Ncuti Gatwa among others.

Notably, on Russell T Davies's Instagram account, he clarified that this exhibit genuinely depicted in-universe events.[4]

Summary[]

In the 2020s, the Doctor's TARDIS is seen around London, painted in a brilliant pink colour scheme.

Worldbuilding[]

  • Tower Bridge is visible behind the TARDIS.
  • One corner of the TARDIS's new paintjob is peeling, showing the original blue underneath.
