The Comanche were famous horsemen. They weren't very superstitious. However, they believed that the holes in the rocks of Hell's Gate were gateways between their world and the world of the demon races, Nepesht and Utlunta. They thought that these demons could manipulate humans with their charms and that they would drink the life blood of the men and steal the life-giving force from the women, which would make them able to bear demon children. These demon children would would also need to drink blood, but they would stay on Earth. Bernice Summerfield called these creatures vampires. Tse-naha was a Comanche. (PROSE: Possum Kingdom)
