Mr Cole was the owner of a warehouse where orphaned children worked. He attended the funeral of Reverend Aubrey Fairchild because he gave generously to the warehouses. Mercy Hartigan arrived at the funeral with an army of Cybermen, one of which grabbed Mr Cole and put EarPods in his ears.
