Cloudbase was a Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons feature published in 1968 within Spectrum File 1/974/CS/206, which was offered as a free gift with issue 155 of TV Century 21.
It mentioned elements from the Doctor Who universe, namely Unity City, a location first introduced in The Daleks comic story Duel of the Daleks.

- Cloudbase is propelled by atomic jets.
- The Monitor Room is the "ever-active nerve centre" of Cloudbase.

- This feature states that Cloudbase hovers forty thousand feet above sea level, or eight miles up in the sky. The short story Capt. Black Mars Expedition Lost! previously gave the figure of fifty thousand feet above Nice.

- It is claimed that the world is safe so long as Cloudbase hovers overhead ready to act against the Mysterons, a sentiment echoed in many stories beginning with COMIC: We Will Destroy Unity City.
