Cloud of Death was a Thunderbirds comic printed in TV Century 21 in 1967.
The story crossed over with the Doctor Who universe by featuring as one of its settings Unity City, a location first introduced in The Daleks story Duel of the Daleks.

Worldbuilding[]
- The poisonous gas which knocks out the personnel of Space Research Centre 10 was collected during an expedition to the planet Minos.
- Scott watches a flock of seagulls succumb to the gas cloud from Thunderbird 1.
- The cloud travels south at rate five from its position over S.R. Ten's island on the east coast of Africa which would put it over Newhaven City after twenty minutes.
- A notice in Newhaven City warns citizens to "take civil emergency measures".
- Brains uses a giant suction unit powered by Thunderbird 2's engines to capture the gas in a polyplastic bag and then cooling units to force the gas to contract so all of it can be contained.
- The World President asks International Rescue to dump the bag full of gas in space and Alan obliges using Thunderbird 3.
- Brains ponders what other dangers man will being back from space in the quest for knowledge.
Story notes[]
- This story's title panel on its first page was accompanied by a photograph of Thunderbird 3 in flight, mirroring the end of the story where the craft blasts off to dispose of the gas in space.
