Clara was born in 1873. In 1899, she was a barmaid at the Six Bells in Cardiff.
She was a close friend of Charles Gaskell, who regularly drank at the bar, despite never knowing what he did for a job. She comforted him when he arrived at the pub after a particularly upsetting day. Clara had a cheerful disposition and blonde hair. (PROSE: The Baby Farmers)
