The TARDIS makes a quick visit to the city. (COMIC: The Doctor and the Nurse)
The Eleventh Doctor briefly visited a non-terrestrial city while attempting to get back to London, 1814 with Rory Williams, to retrieve Amy Pond.
The city had tall metal structures. At the time the Doctor visited, flying vehicles were commonplace as methods of transportation.
The Doctor quickly realised this was not London on 17 October 1814, and once again departed. (COMIC: The Doctor and the Nurse)
