Christofer Ibrahim Talk

Colonel Christofer Ibrahim, (PROSE: The Giggle [+]James Goss, adapted from The Giggle (Russell T Davies), 60th Anniversary Novels (Target Books, 2024).) of UNIT Squad 5, was a high-ranking officer in the British division of UNIT by late 2023. (TV: The Giggle [+]Russell T Davies, Doctor Who 2023 specials (BBC One and Disney+, 2023).)

Biography[]

During the Giggle, Ibrahim led Squad 5 in extracting the Fourteenth Doctor and Donna Noble from the streets of London to the local UNIT HQ, while also making arrangements to mover Wilfred Mott to a safe location to wait out the crisis. Once at the HQ, Ibrahim remained on the scene as the Doctor and Donna were briefed by Kate Lethbridge-Stewart, Shirley Anne Bingham and Melanie Bush, and was forced to act when Kate's demonstration of the Vlinx's Zeedex went awry, with Ibrahim having to forcibly reattach her Zeedex when she removed it during a rant induced by the Giggle. He remained part of the inner circle discussing how to resolve the crisis, though he did not contribute to the discussions, instead following Kate's orders to prepare the galvanic beam and giving the Doctor directions to his TARDIS. After the Toymaker arrived at UNIT HQ, Ibrahim witnessed the Fourteenth Doctor's bi-generation and the emergence of the Fifteenth Doctor, and stood by as they bested the Toymaker in a game of catch. (TV: The Giggle [+]Russell T Davies, Doctor Who 2023 specials (BBC One and Disney+, 2023).)

Ibrahim tried to get in a workout routine when he could, building up an improved physique by 2024. He was present at UNIT HQ when the Fifteenth Doctor returned with his companion Ruby Sunday, the Doctor complimenting Ibrahim on his muscles when seeing him. Ibrahim watched on as the Doctor revealed his need to discover the connection of Susan Triad to other identical people he had encountered on his travels, Ibrahim even commenting that he was capalble of figuring out Triad Technology's connection with his TARDIS. He later observed as the Doctor and Ruby used the time window to try to learn the identity of Ruby's mother. After that, he was present on the bridge defending Kate when she confronted the arrival of Sutekh. (TV: The Legend of Ruby Sunday [+]Russell T Davies, Doctor Who series 14 (BBC One and Disney+, 2024).) Like the other members of UNIT, Christofer Ibrahim was killed by Sutekh's Dust of Death, and later revived when the Doctor defeated Sutekh. He helped Kate Lethbridge-Stewart to her feet when they were resurrected and held hands with her. Later, when Susan Triad commented that she might make the tea when Kate offered her a job working for UNIT, he asked if she made the tea he was currently drinking. When she confirmed that she had, he told her to not make the tea. (TV: Empire of Death [+]Russell T Davies, Doctor Who series 14 (BBC One and Disney+, 2024).)

Psychological profile[]

Ibrahim was a dedicated soldier who held himself professionally, (TV: The Giggle [+]Russell T Davies, Doctor Who 2023 specials (BBC One and Disney+, 2023).) but did not think highly of himself on an intellectual front. He sought to keep himself in good health, and appreciated when the Fifteenth Doctor recognised that he had been working out. (TV: The Legend of Ruby Sunday [+]Russell T Davies, Doctor Who series 14 (BBC One and Disney+, 2024).)

He was an approachable individual, giving the Doctor a reassuring pat on the back after he beat Sutekh. He also helped Kate Lethbridge-Stewart back on her feet when they were resurrected from the Sutekh's Dust of Death‎, and the two held hands as they took in the sunlight. (TV: Empire of Death [+]Russell T Davies, Doctor Who series 14 (BBC One and Disney+, 2024).)
