Chase Carrington was the founder of the Carrington Corporation. He bought Micawber's World and added facilities so it could host the 3999 Intergalactic Olympic Games. He was assassinated before the games started by Foamasi from the Dark Peaks Lodge, who were trying to expand their influence. One of the Foamasi then impersonated him, to gain and keep control of the company. (PROSE: Placebo Effect)
