The Charge of the Light Brigade was a military advance made during the Battle of Balaclava on 25 October, 1854. Due to a miscommunication, the cavalry charged towards enemy troops and sustained massive casualties. (TV: The Evil of the Daleks, The Sea Devils)
By one account, Agonal caused the Charge of the Light Brigade so he could feed on and enjoy the agony and death. Disguised as an aide, he handed the dispatch, ordering the attack, to a "baffled officer". Looking into the sphere, Ace saw a vision of this aide, and of the officer leading the cavalry into a battery of cannon.
