Canton was a district in Cardiff. Andy Davidson's flat was located there. (PROSE: Bay of the Dead ^[+]Mark Morris, BBC Torchwood novels (BBC Books, 2009).) 4 Tanners Crescent was also located in this district. (TV: Reset ^[+]J. C. Wilsher, Torchwood series 2 (BBC Three, 2008).)

During the zombie attack on Cardiff in 2009, Canton was relatively quiet in terms of zombie activity compared to other parts of the city. (PROSE: Bay of the Dead ^[+]Mark Morris, BBC Torchwood novels (BBC Books, 2009).)

Behind the scenes

Canton was evidently used by the BBC to film the scene in The Woman Who Fell to Earth in which the Thirteenth Doctor chooses her outfit. In the background, local business Canton Discounts can be vaguely seen, as well as a Domino's.
