CD-ROM

CD-ROMs were CDs which were used to store computer data rather than recorded music.

In 1998, the CD-ROM containing VORACIA was stolen by Kevin Sutcliffe, who passed it on to the Fourth Doctor before he was killed. (PROSE: System Shock [+]Justin Richards, Virgin Missing Adventures (Virgin Books, 1995).)

In 1999, the Jex plans for invading Earth were recorded on a CD-ROM which was acquired by the CIA. (PROSE: The King of Terror [+]Keith Topping, BBC Past Doctor Adventures (BBC Books, 2000).)
