Burt Kwouk (18 July 1930-24 May 2016[1]) played Lin Futu in the Doctor Who television story Four to Doomsday and Doctor Matsuo Hayashi in the Big Finish Productions audio story Loups-Garoux.
He also appeared in the Doctor Who crossover episode The Harry Hill Show: Episode 3.1 alongside Nicholas Courtney as Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart.
Career[]
Outside Doctor Who, he was perhaps best known for playing Cato, Inspector Clouseau's faithful but karate-mad manservant, in most of the original Pink Panther films of the 1960s and 1970s opposite Peter Sellers; and also as "Electrical" Entwhistle in the long-running sitcom Last of the Summer Wine from 2002 to 2010.
Kwouk also had a notable role in the James Bond film Goldfinger, which also featured Honor Blackman. He played Commandant Yamauchi in the BBC's Second World War POW drama series Tenko, appearing alongside Louise Jameson, Jeananne Crowley, Stephanie Cole and Eiji Kusuhara.
