Buck Sharon was a wealthy American engineer. He developed a large amount of aerospace hardware.
He was secretly the head of Global Response. When he eventually revealed this and how PRISM had misused his technology, he was considered crazy and became publicly discredited. The shame led him to commit suicide. (PROSE: The Indestructible Man)
