Buchanan (The Mother Road)

Buchanan was a California businessman. The First Doctor deliberately lost the TARDIS in a bet with him in 2006 Chicago as an excuse to go on a road trip vacation along Route 66. The Doctor won the TARDIS back from Buchanan in an online auction when they reached California. (PROSE: The Mother Road)
