The Brigade of Gübernators was a space-faring group of Gübernators encountered by the Doctor on multiple occasions.
Their aim was to travel in their spaceship and capture exceptionally skilled pilots, using their species' natural brain-control capabilities to take over their captors and use them to wage their own wars.
History[]
The Brigade of Gübernators once visited the Western Front in 1917 with a view to capturing the Red Baron as part of their brigade. However, as they began to pull him aboard with their null-grav haulage ray, they also unwittingly captured the Doctor's TARDIS with the Fourteenth Doctor and Donna Noble inside, who freed themselves almost instantly, foiling their plan but allowing a single Gübernator to hitchhike on the TARDIS as it dematerialised.
Sometime later, the Brigade landed in the Bermuda Triangle in 1976. A Doctor prior to the Fourteenth encountered them and defeated them for good, seemingly affecting the Bermuda Triangle's supernatural abilities in the process. (COMIC: Untitled [+]Alan Barnes, DWM Comics (Panini Comics, 2023).)
