The First Doctor once landed the TARDIS on the deck of the Black Pig, in the Golden Age of Piracy.
Captain Pugwash checked who he was in Who's Who and, having recognised him, informed him that he was in "the wrong place… the wrong century… and the wrong page of Radio Times!". (COMIC: Pugwash Ahoy! [+]John Ryan, Radio Times comic stories (BBC Magazines, 1965).)
Behind the scenes[]
- The Black Pig, being immediately recognisable as such to readers of Captain Pugwash, was not explicitly named in the one crossover strip between Captain Pugwash and Doctor Who.
