- You may be looking for the concept of a biography in general.
Biography was a short story released on the Vince Cosmos website. It was self-explanatory, being a fictional biography of the character Vince Cosmos, though it was told from the perspective of the general public, so some details were deliberately inaccurate when compared to other stories featuring Vince Cosmos. It also foreshadowed the events of AUDIO: Vince Cosmos: Glam Rock Detective.
Plot[]
Vincent Albert Smedley is born in South London in 1948, to his parents Albert Thomas Smedley and Gladys Irene Smedley. He grows up in Hammersmith and East Dulwich. He tries multiple times to get into the music industry, but all his attempts fail. That is, until he signs up with Hell for Leather Promotions and Arthur Korns in the early 1970s, has a strange set of dreams which he later claims were influenced by aliens, and his career bursts into the limelight, creating Glam Rock.
Now known as Vince Cosmos, he becomes so famous he's a household name, but over the next few years there are many assassination attempts. He becomes increasingly paranoid, and by the mid-1970s, Vince's career is failing, in part due to Glam Rock falling out of style. He performs once more, at Wembly on Christmas Day 1978, giving the world a spectacular performance to remember. However, the following month in 1979, he seemingly disappears off the face of the planet, with Poppy Munday being likely the only person who knows what happened to him.
