Bernard Bresslaw (25 February 1934-11 June 1993[1]) played Varga in the Doctor Who television story The Ice Warriors.
He was later considered for the role of Condo in The Brain of Morbius. (TCH 24)
Career[]
He was best known for his appearances in the Carry On... film series. His imposing height (6'7") also fitted him to play several monster characters in science fiction and fantasy films.

Archive interviews with Bernard were used in the documentary Sssowing the Ssseedsss: Musings on being an Ice Warrior and the audio commentary for The Ice Warriors.
His son James Bresslaw shared his memories of his father on the documentary Cold Fusion.
