Bernard Archard (born Bernard Joseph Archard in London on 20 August 1916, died 1 May 2008[1][2]) appeared in two Doctor Who television stories: as Bragen in The Power of the Daleks and Marcus Scarman in Pyramids of Mars.
He was also considered for the roles of Bennett in The Rescue, (DOC: Mounting The Rescue) Professor Hayter in Time-Flight, (TCH 35) Azmael in The Twin Dilemma (TCH 40) and Lord Ravensworth in The Mark of the Rani. (TCH 41)

Archard was partnered with fellow actor Jim Belchamber, and they entered into a civil partnership in 2006.[1]
