Ben Wolsey was a farmer at Little Hodcombe and a friend of Jane Hampden.
In 1984, he participated in Sir George Hutchinson's war games as a colonel, but when he ordered that Tegan Jovanka was to be made the May Queen, Wolsey allowed her to escape, and he helped the Fifth Doctor defeat the Malus. (TV: The Awakening)
