The Begins at Home was a green freight vessel which was built on Mendavici Seven. Over the years, the ship was bought and sold countless times until it was old and decrepit.
In the 2010s, the Begins at Home was owned by a group of Vatrexii, who used it to gather bric-a-brac. The Objet D'Oom was in the ship's assortment of curiosities, which was a prize the Dog Pirates wanted, so they viciously attacked the ship, killing all of its crew, but were unable to steal the Objet D'Oom because it had already been taken by Terrance.
Iris Wildthyme, Panda, and Simon came to the Begins at Home shortly afterwards and examined the destruction left behind by the Dog Pirates, where they encountered a survivor, Harfolg, however had fatal injuries. (PROSE: Enter Wildthyme)
