Barbarius was the keeper of the monsters used to fight at the Rome Hyp-Arena of an alternate Rome. Among the species he kept were Zarks, Kronks and Ectoslime. When Maximus Bilious interviewed Barbarius, he assured him that the crowds would be entertained. (COMIC: Doctor Who and the Iron Legion)
