Flynn is perhaps best remembered as the unnamed milkwoman in the sitcom Open All Hours; Dr. Rose Marie in the comedy drama series A Very Peculiar Practice; and Jill Swinburne, opposite James Bolam as Trevor Chaplin, in the ITV comedy drama trilogy The Beiderbecke Affair, The Beiderbecke Tapes and The Beiderbecke Connection — collectively known as The Beiderbecke Trilogy.
