An Atlantean captain was the leader of a space mission sent by the Supreme Council of Atlantis. Ten years into the mission, his spacecraft was damaged during a space battle and crashed on Vortis. Unable to repair their instruments, he and his men waged war on the Menoptera until the arrival of the First Doctor, who convinced the captain that he was an Atlantean scientist. After spending a few days studying the instruments, the Doctor told the captain that the spare parts he needed to make repairs were in his TARDIS. On the way there, the captain and his men were caught in a battle between the Menoptera and the Zarbi and were killed. (PROSE: The Lost Ones)
