Arverton was a Time Lord soldier during the Last Great Time War. He was a follower of Seratrix's crusade for peace negotiation with the Daleks.
During the Time War
Arverton, together with his close friend Bennus, was assigned by Cardinal Ollistra to use the Time Destructor to destroy a Dalek space fleet. However, the War Doctor came and forced them to leave him with the mission. (AUDIO: The Innocent)
To purge the ideals of Seratrix and prevent the spread of it, Ollistra decided to send Arverton, Bennus, the War Doctor, and Veklin to the Null Zone, where he died while infiltrating the citadel. (AUDIO: The Thousand Worlds)
