Arthur Balfour was a British politician during the 19th and 20th centuries.
He was the nephew of Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, who was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in July 1900. His uncle was the last person who held that office to refuse to use 10 Downing Street as his official home. He instead allowed Balfour to use it. Balfour later became Prime Minister himself.
