Ares One was a NASA spacecraft sent on a mission to Mars, financed by the Webster Corporation. It lifted off from Earth at 11am EST on 4 June, at some point in the early 21st century. The spacecraft stayed in orbit while its shuttle, the Argosy, was sent to the planet's surface. (AUDIO: Red Dawn)
