A Dalek duplicate of Colonel Archer was created to replace the original Archer, who was killed by Lytton's "policemen".
Biography[]
Tegan Jovanka realised this wasn't the real Colonel Archer when she noticed the duplicate was wearing a gun-belt, which the real Archer had given to the Fifth Doctor before leaving to find a telephone to call his H.Q. for reinforcements, in case any more Daleks materialised in the warehouse via the time corridor.
The duplicate was killed fighting Daleks loyal to Davros. (TV: Resurrection of the Daleks)
