Arabella Hendricks was an artificial intelligence and CEO of the Fulcrum Corporation.

Biography[]

Hendricks designed a body for herself which was then built for her to inhabit. She purchased Earth for the Fulcrum Corporation in the 52nd century as its headquarters. (AUDIO: The Inheritance [+]Alfie Shaw, Geronimo! (The Eleventh Doctor Chronicles, Big Finish Productions, 2022).)

In the 54th century, Hendricks was given the Darinthian Blight by Valarie Lockwood from the future, disguised as Tim, having arrived in what Hendricks believed to be a TARDIS. Claiming to be a consultant, Valarie told her the Blight had potential and that the Doctor could provide a cure so she could safely exploit it. (AUDIO: The Last Stand of Miss Valarie Lockwood [+]Alfie Shaw, Victory of the Doctor (The Eleventh Doctor Chronicles, Big Finish Productions, 2024).)

Taking her consultant’s advice, Hendricks brought the Doctor (in his eleventh incarnation) to Earth after infecting Research Rig 6 with the Blight. She promised him information on Clara Oswald in return for him finding a cure so that she could control it, but he and Valarie Lockwood ultimately discovered what she had done. The Doctor stopped Hendricks by linking the infected Intranet to the wider Internet, resulting in her becoming the Darinthian Blight's main target. To save herself, she deleted all money on Earth and had a shuttle prepared for her escape. Before leaving, she erased the information on Clara, as well as all information on Project Double Dip. (AUDIO: The Inheritance [+]Alfie Shaw, Geronimo! (The Eleventh Doctor Chronicles, Big Finish Productions, 2022).)

Hendricks encountered Tim proper, recognising him as her consultant even though he hadn’t met her yet, and began working with him to develop the Surge as a counter to the threat of the Resurrected Dalek Empire. (AUDIO: Didn't You Kill My Mother? [+]John Dorney, Victory of the Doctor (The Eleventh Doctor Chronicles, Big Finish Productions, 2024).) They carried out an experiment in 1890s America, which was disrupted by the Doctor and Valarie again. In revenge Hendricks killed the future version of Valarie who was confined to a life support machine. Upon being caught Hendricks transmitted her mind to another body. (AUDIO: All's Fair [+]Max Kashevsky, Everywhere and Anywhere (The Eleventh Doctor Chronicles, Big Finish Productions, 2023).)

As a test for the Doctor, Tim brought Valarie and Hendricks face to face in his interior and made the Doctor arbitrate between them, with Hendricks arguing the deaths she’d caused were justified due to the threat of the Daleks and Valarie arguing she’d never cared about Daleks before and was actually just seeking potential profit from the Surge. The Doctor refused to make a choice, leaving the pair alone. Though Valarie was tempted to kill Hendricks, as in Tim’s interior she couldn’t jump to another body, they worked together against Tim. Angered, Tim deleted Hendricks’ AI. (AUDIO: Didn't You Kill My Mother? [+]John Dorney, Victory of the Doctor (The Eleventh Doctor Chronicles, Big Finish Productions, 2024).)
