The Anomaly Vault, also known as the Anomaly Vaults (AUDIO: Fractures) or Anomaly Chambers, (AUDIO: Spirit) was a Time Lord repository of temporal anomalies located in the Outlands of Gallifrey. (AUDIO: Fractures)

Contents[]

Inside of the Vault were robots who had built themselves, objects propelled through time by zygma energy, the irradiated Third Moon of Hentaphlobin (AUDIO: Fractures) and a TARDIS used by Wynter. (AUDIO: Spirit, Fractures)

History[]

To keep the Anomaly Vault insulated from its own impossibility, the Celestial Intervention Agency captured a sentience which existed outside of time and broke its will before leaving it in the vault to serve them. The sentience learnt and evolved and wanted its freedom.

The Third Moon of Hentaphlobin was locked in one of the Vault's dungeons after it was irradiated with waste time energy during the Archetryx Expansion. (AUDIO: Fractures)

Irving Braxiatel had the broken man's TARDIS placed in the Anomaly Chambers due to its earlier version still standing in TARDIS Bay 6. (AUDIO: Spirit)

Because of the deteriorating political situation, Narvin sought to engineer an assassin. When the CIA found Aesino splintered across reality in a temporal cul-de-sac, he had her transplanted into the Anomaly Vault and hardwired to Wynter's TARDIS to stabilise her. The sentience took control of her and hoped to be free.

Romana II and Hallan entered the Vault to acquire Wynter's TARDIS but were attacked by Aesino. With the help of Narvin and Leela, they were able to defeat Aesino, although the sentience still existed and attempted to take over Romana. However, Romana was able to escape to the Gallifreyan Academy. (AUDIO: Fractures)
