Angela Douglas (born 29 October 1940[1]) played Doris Lethbridge-Stewart in the Doctor Who television story Battlefield.
She was born Angela MacDonagh in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. She is best remembered for her roles in several Carry On films in the 1960s. She was married to the actor Kenneth More from 1968 until his death in 1982.
Her Carry On appearances were Carry On Cowboy (1965), Carry On Screaming (1966, with Jon Pertwee), Follow That Camel (1967) and Carry On Up the Khyber (1968). She has, by virtue of this association, appeared on many retrospective and spin-off programmes.
Her other films have included Digby, the Biggest Dog in the World (1973) and The Four Feathers (2002).
Her television credits have included Peak Practice, Jason King, The Avengers, Z-Cars and Dixon of Dock Green.
