Andron was chief of Mar-Kom's time police in 3550 New Britain. He tracked the Doctor's return to 1971 England and posed as a police constable to capture him. He piloted the Doctor's TARDIS to New Britain and imprisoned the Doctor with Theophilus Tolliver.
