Andrew Morgan directed the Doctor Who television stories Time and the Rani and Remembrance of the Daleks. He later made an uncredited cameo appearance as a tourist at Windsor Castle in Silver Nemesis. (DWM 244)

Morgan was barred from directing for Doctor Who after Remembrance of the Daleks as he significantly overspent during the production of the story. (DWMSE 10) As a result, he is perhaps the only director known in Doctor Who history to have been explicitly banned from returning as a director on future stories.

He was interviewed in Toby Hadoke's Who Round 174.

Morgan also directed episodes of Secret Army, Blake's 7, Buccaneer, Triangle, Juliet Bravo, Casualty, EastEnders and Heartbeat. In 1984, he produced the BBC TV series One by One.
