According to the "Katy Manning" Iris, the Martian invasion of Earth in 1894 took place in an alternate timeline. (PROSE: Enter Wildthyme) Many accounts contradicted this, showing the invasion taking place in the "main" universe. (PROSE: Biography, Timothy Bold Interviews Vince Cosmos, The Book of the Enemy, AUDIO: Goodbye Piccadilly)

History[]

After Simon, Kelly, the "Katy Manning" Iris, and Panda witnessed the first arrival of a Martian cylinder in 1894 that heralded the beginning of the Martian invasion of Earth, Simon refused to accept that the invasion happened due to him having no knowledge of it. Iris then claimed that the invasion took place in an alternate reality. Later on in this timeline, the assassination attempt of Vince Cosmos by a pair of Martian Time Agents sent by Anthony Marvelle occurred at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1973, though it was foiled by Simon and Panda who had arrived there through a tear in the Very Fabric. (PROSE: Enter Wildthyme)

Despite Simon's knowledge that in his universe, Vince's performance at the Hammersmith Odeon was his final performance, (PROSE: Enter Wildthyme) Vince Cosmos himself contradicted this, as he openly talked about the assassination attempt on multiple occasions (though the assassination attempt seemingly took place the year prior) as well as going on to perform for years to come. (PROSE: Biography, Timothy Bold Interviews Vince Cosmos) Additional accounts showed the Martian invasion taking place in N-Space, with The War of the Worlds being written as part of the cover-up, (AUDIO: Goodbye Piccadilly) or the events being fictionalised within the aforementioned story. (PROSE: The Book of the Enemy)
