Template:Infobox Organization The Alliance of Shades was an organisation created to hide alien secrets from human, they built androids called the men in black to hunt down and incinerate all aliens that came to earth.They have blaster hidden in there left hands.

In 1958, the Doctor arrived at Dreamland, where a crashed spaceship had been captured by the American government. Rivesh Mantilax was a Grey alien who had created a genetic weapon that would kill all Viperox in the universe, which the Doctor objected to. The weapon was disguised as an Ionic Fusion Bar. Mantilax needed the device to help his wife, Seruba Velak escape from the Viperox.

The Alliance of Shades, led by Mister Dread , attempted to retrieve the Ionic Fusion Bar which would provide power for Velak's spaceship. They then attempted to stop the Doctor from retrieving it, though were deactivated by Night Eagle . (DW : Dreamland)
