Alien Life, also called Alien Life Confirmed and prefixed as PRESS STATEMENT: Alien Life on the story's page, was the final short story released on the U.N.I.T. website as part of the UNIT Press Briefings series of in-universe, narrative press briefings.

This story tied into the television story TV: The Christmas Invasion.

Plot[]

In a press briefing released on 25 December, UNIT announces, much to everyone's knowledge, that alien life exists, and it did not come in peace. The briefing goes on to state that, on that day, mankind was placed in "real danger by forces beyond our current comprehension." However, the briefing states that humankind won - and UNIT will be watching the skies - ready to offer friendship or to challenge Earth's next visitors.
